Porsche is a little well known company  originating in Austria  that started  designing and building cars and rose to fame in the 50’s and 60’s by building quality reliable sports and racing cars. Their first car, the Type 356 Porsches, were produced between 1948  and 1965.  There were 4 generations of 356s,  Pre “A”, “A”, “B” and “C”.  Over the years, the 356 evolved into a better more refined sports Car.  Pre”A” 356’s are among the most desirable and rarest of the normal production line series.  The 1953  356 Pre “A” featured here  is finished  in stunning black paint over a smooth body with excellent fit. The green leather interior is nicely fitted, appointed in standard trim and features a rare “Golde” sliding sunroof. The engine runs well and the motor compartment is correctly detailed.  The car rides and drives excellent, has good posture and rolls the original 16” wheels with white wall tires . This Porsche would be a great asset to any collection.
