1958 Porsche 365 A Coupe

Vehicle Description

1958 Porsche 356 A Coupe

  • Ruetter Coachwork
  • Cosmetically and mechanically reconditioned
  • Highly desirable color combination – Silver over red
  • Listed in the 356 registry
  • 1600 normal engine
  • Baby moons
  • Arrow mirror and high bumper guards

Despite looking outwardly similar to the preceding models, Porsche thoroughly updated their 356 line in 1956 and called their new model the 356A. At the core, this included a larger 1600 cc engine, but also a curved-glass windshield and a thoroughly revised suspension. At the 1955 Frankfurt Motor Show in September of 1955, Porsche released the 356A/1600 to the world with cabriolet, coupe and speedster bodies from Reutter. This beautiful Porsche 356 A 1600 normal coupe has been mechanically and cosmetically reconditioned. This shiny little jewel has polished fresh sparkling silver paint, and a completely new reupholstered red interior, one of the most fitting color and interior combinations. It has new tires and correct moon hubcaps and although and US spec car, the absence of the overrider bumper bars give the car a clean “Euro Look“. This very simplistic little car has also a recent mechanical service and putts down the road just fine.
