1962 Jaguar XKE Roadster
The Jaguar marque is legendary for design and synonymous with performance. What started out as a design exercise in aero dynamics resulted probably the most timeless sports car in the world, the Jaguar E-Type. Low, sleek and fast, all the essentials of a true sports car. This striking red roadster is a Concours quality XKE that has won numerous JCNA awards. The interior is covered in rich tan Connolly hides. The factory mahogany wood wheel is beautifully refinished sporting crystal clear horn button with the famous “Growler” insignia . All the dash instruments, switches, knobs and aluminum appliqué are restored to showroom condition. The XKE derives its power from a highly detailed 240hp 3.8 litre inline twin cam six with triple carburetors. The spotless wire wheel spokes reflect the sunlight yards away and the Michelin red line tire give the car a classic 60’s look. The Cat is ready to pounce on any motoring prey.
