1981 Porsche 936 Jr Kart
Porsche commissioned the creation of this miniature 936 in celebration of the win at Le Mans. With only about 100 of the 936 Jr. built, most were disbursed among Porsche’s drivers, team members and other company officials.
With exceptional attention provided to the detailing of this replica kart, the end result is one to impress. The body is an expertly molded single piece of fiberglass, save for the independent rear wing, and is powered by a 5 HP Briggs and Stratton flathead with a manually operated foot clutch. The transmission features two forward speeds plus neutral and reverse. Rack and pinion steering, disc brake, limited slip rear axle, 4-wheel coil suspension, working high/low beam headlights, turn signals, horn, taillights, brake lights, electric and pull starters, and remote choke control are just some of the long list of additional features packed into this roaring 1:2 scale replica.
